Ivy's First Day of Kindergarten

Ready to GO

with a friend at the bus stop

Dad came back from work to see her off

marching onto the bus

Kindergarten starts a week after the rest of the school, and Ivy spent that week in an agony of anticipation. And when I say agony, I mean agony. Every night at dinner while Michael and William talked about their new teachers and classrooms and friends and receseses, she would sigh huge noisy gusty sighs and say, "I just WISH my school had STARTED ALREADY" SIGH. "OR TOMORROW." SIGH. "Or YESTERDAY!" SIGH. 

So we were all a little relieved it was finally time to get on that bus and GO.

Unsurprisingly, she loves every second.
