Last night I overheard Ivy reading a story to her doll. It went like this: Once upon a time a big scary monster came and ate William. The End.
You know, I generally try not to take sides in the ongoing battle between Ivy and William, but you really have to admire the elegance of her solution.

i just happened to stumble upon your blog right now and this story made me laugh so hard. i've had a 'not so great' day but this really made me smile. i wish that all of life's problems could be solved with such simplicity!
