I love this picture! I need to take a class to learn to do this..either that or get a better photo shop - oh - and a house with better lighting.

Soooo cool! Love it. How long did you leave your shutter open for? You give so much inspiration. So while sitting home, going on two weeks now of sick kids, I will try this. Did you use a tripod?

Fantastic.

thanks! Ash--I used aperture priority, f/ about 4.0, closed all the shutters, and overexposed by one stop. I think the shutter opened for approximately 5 seconds (which suprised me; I thought it would be at least 10.) Anyway, that was as long as I could get it to open, without overexposing more than I wanted. and yes, I used a tripod.
Confession: I took three pictures, and on this one William had come to close to the camera on the left side so...I combined exposures. Basically, in photoshop, I added one of the other pictures as a layer mask and painted over the spot where he was too close. If you look at the table againt the wall, you can see where it doesn't line up.
is it lame that I left the longest comment on my own blog?
